13 Weeks!

I have reached the 13th week mark!  First doctor's appointment is scheduled for Tuesday with a new doctor.  This doctor is a woman, first woman OB I've ever had.  Wondering what to expect.  Hopefully everything will go smoothly.
Oh, I thought by now that all morning sickness and fatigue would have subsided but it hasn't.  It seems more prevalent now than before.  I'm MISERABLE!  One good thing is that my wrist pain has subsided.  It was traded for constant headaches.  I'm hoping for some good advice/help at my appointment.
Tonight my back is KILLING me.  My lower back is aching something awful.

I so hope to be over this soon so I can enjoy this pregnancy.

Taken from WTE:

Your Baby in Week 13 of Pregnancy

What's up with your baby? Well, besides being as large as a peach now, that big old noggin of hers is now about half the size of her crown-to-rump length (that’s one reason why your little peach looks more like an alien from outer space at this point). By the time you give birth, her body will catch up, measuring three-quarters of her total size. What else is going on in there? Tiny bones are beginning to form in her arms and legs, the intestines are beginning to move from the umbilical cord to the abdomen, and the vocal cords are well under construction (the first step toward saying, "I love you, Mommy!"). And because she can move her arms and legs in a jerky fashion, she may be able to get her thumb into her mouth (a habit that may come in handy for self-soothing when she’s a newborn).

8 Weeks!

The two month mark!

Sickness

It's been a while...

Seems like we have been battling sickness for an entire month!  The end of Oct. - First of Nov. we had colds and now since before Thanksgiving.  I came down with the sickness that all the kids had a week from last friday.  I ended up having to go to the doctor because it got so bad.  Coughing, fever, tiredness in addition to all of the pregnancy ailments that I have going on.  Nausea, extreme nausea.  I swear I do not remember it being this bad before but then again it's been 5 years.  Who knows!  I can't wait until my 2nd trimester!
I haven't been to apply for insurance yet, but plan to this week.  Maybe I will be able to see a doctor in January.  :)
I'm 8 weeks and my belly is already extending!!  Is it because of the previous 3 pregnancies?  The extremeness of my symptoms make me think multiples!  I can't even imagine!!
I still haven't told quite a few people.  I was going to tell some people today at the homeschool Christmas party but I chickened out.  Why do I feel so weird about telling people?  I think I'm afraid of judgement of how many kids I have and my financial situation.
Nevertheless I'm still happy about this awesome blessing!

Fatigue

Oh fatigue, could you please leave me alone!

I am SO tired lately.  I need to get stuff done around here but all I want to do is go to sleep.  I can barely keep my eyes open.  In addition to the fatigue, I'm having horrible congestion.  Can't wait until it leaves either.  Waves of morning sickness has set in as well.  First trimester is not one of my favorites.

On the bright side though, they have gummy prenatal vitamins now!  They are yummy and I totally don't mind taking them.  :)

Charting

My beautiful chart:

These classic signs in a chart is very rare for me.  Usually I do not have such an obvious O and ID.

Positive+

It was darker today!  Here's my test at 11 DPO:

I actually woke up this morning and the notion has completely set in that I am pregnant.  Morning sickness has already begun, my BB's are still swollen and sore, and Jade is telling everyone that she sees.  I kind of wanted to keep it to myself for a while but Jade is not letting that happen.  Anytime someone comes around that she hasn't told, she tells them that she is going to be a big sister.  She is so excited.  I wonder if she will remain excited once the baby gets here.  I hope so.  I hope she doesn't feel left out or jealous.

Two Week Wait

It begins...

After my chart showed my obvious O on October 30th, I kind of figured our BD was planned perfectly.  My luteal phase normally is very short to the point of I was thinking I have a luteal phase defect.  It averaged 9-10 days with spotting prior.
About 7 DPO I started having signs.  That night I became sick while eating my delicious pecan pie and it dawned on me...I must be pregnant!  The next day I took a $tree test and it came up negative.  No biggie, it's too early anyway.  The next day my BB's were so sore and I had a classic implantation dip in my chart.  Took another $tree test and it came up with a very faint positive!!!!  I thought I was seeing things at first but it is definitely there.  Today, I'm 10 DPO.  Took a 3rd test and it looks the same as yesterday.  Still very faint but still there!  I think I'm going to continue taking them until I get a clear BFP.

Maybe we will finally get our boy!!!

Till tomorrow...
